Dr. Hakim Syed Imamuddin Ahmed, BUMMS (Aligarh), MD (AM) is a distinguished Unani physician, academician, administrator, and researcher with over 39 years of clinical and 30 years of teaching experience. He served as Principal and HOD (Moalajat & Special Medicine) at theGovernment Unani Medical College, Chennai, and held senior administrative roles as Special Officer and Medical Officer in the Government of Tamil Nadu. He was a Examiner for UG and PG Unani courses in Universities and medical colleges across India.  A former Member, Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) andChairman, Board of Studies, TN Dr. MGR Medical University, he has contributed extensively to research in arthritis, psoriasis, chronic renalfailure, CAD, and neurological disorders.
