Dr. Mahadevan Seetharaman

Dr. Mahadevan Seetharaman is an integrative health proponent dedicated to advancing Ayurveda education, research, and collaboration by bridging classical Ayurveda, Yoga, and Modern Medicine through research, scholarship and clinical practice. He serves as the Dean of the California College of Ayurveda (CCA) and Faculty at the Hindu University of America (HUA). A Duke Integrative Healthcare Leader, he is also the founder of Ayurveda Living, a global platform advancing practitioner directories, and wellness insights rooted in Ayurveda and Yoga. As a certified Ayurveda Diet & Nutrition Consultant and Yoga Teacher, Dr. Seetharaman is passionate about bringing Bharatiya health sciences into the global mainstream. His leadership experience includes serving as CEO & Managing Director of the Institute of Ayurveda & Integrative Medicine (I-AIM), Dean of the School of Health Sciences at the Transdisciplinary University (TDU), and COO of Isha Arogya Research Foundation. He serves on multiple Ayurveda boards, co-founded the Texas Ayurveda Professionals Association (TAPAS), and is a member of the Nutrition360 Team at Global Indian Scientists & Technocrats (GIST), contributing to the advancement of integrative nutrition science and evidence-informed Ayurveda. Dr. Mahadevan holds a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from University of Minnesota, completed post-doctoral research at the Cleveland Clinic and Leadership in Integrative Medicine from Duke University.
