Dr Kaushik Chattopadhyay

Dr. Kaushik Chattopadhyay is an Associate Professor in Evidence Based Healthcare at the University of Nottingham, UK, and a core member of the Nottingham JBI Centre for Evidence Based Healthcare. A trained Ayurvedic practitioner, he researches traditional and indigenous health systems, particularly Ayurveda and Yoga, in the prevention and management of non-communicable diseases, including cardiometabolic conditions, across the UK and South Asia. His work aims to generate rigorous, high-quality evidence to support the global integration of these therapies into mainstream healthcare, through both primary research and evidence synthesis. He has secured competitive funding from leading national and international bodies and contributes to capacity building through teaching, supervision, and professional training. His contributions have been widely recognised through awards, media engagement, and invitations to provide expert input in academic, clinical, and policy forums.
