Dr Somesh Kaushik, ND, BAMS, MPH, MPA, E-RYT500 has experience as an Associate Dean for two years, Epidemiologist and Director of HIV/AIDS Sero-surveillance with the Alabama Department of Public Health for 11 years and the Director of Admission at Naturopathic Medical College for three years while maintaining his Ayurvedic practice. He has been a faculty member with UB College of Naturopathic Medicine and Chiropractic and has been teaching in various institutions including Troy State University, the Graduate Institute, CT and National University of Natural Medicine, OR since 1988. Dr.Kaushik co-founded the Institute for Ayurvedic and Naturopathic Therapies in CT, Ayurvedic and Naturopathic clinic in New York and founded the Institute for the Advancement of Ayurvedic Sciences, a research and teaching institution. He is the principal formulator for Sri Sai Nutrients and Vedic Nutrients, both U.S.-based nutraceutical companies. Dr. Kaushik co-founded One Life At A Time, Inc, a non profit organization; to offer free medical camps in India and to support women empowerment. Dr. Kaushik is also the founding President of the National Certification and Credentialing Board for Ayurvedic Medicine (NCCBAM).
